Logo

The wordmark is STRIDE’s signature. Use the original files, keep it clear of clutter, and let it lean the way it was drawn.

Logomark

The Est. logomark is our primary mark. Use it in Stride Black, White or Blue, but only when the wordmark won’t fit the layout. The deciding test is legibility: if “Est. 1925” reads comfortably at the size you need, use this version; if not, use the clean logomark.

Sizing

The minimum size is 10 mm in print and 40 px on screen. Leave clear space of 0.25× the mark’s height on every side, and keep it to about a third of the layout unless it is the focal point. Scale it only from vector files or approved assets so the proportions never drift.

  • Logo clear space

Leave 0.25× the mark’s height free on every side so nothing crowds it.

Clean version, icon

For icons and favicons, use the clean logomark. The Est. version carries small text that turns to mush at that size.

Logomark on imagery

Over photography, choose a calm area away from strong patterns and high-contrast edges. If the image is busy, add a light overlay or gradient behind the mark. Keep the placement the same across a campaign, usually a corner or the quietest part of the frame, so the mark never fights the subject.

Dos

Put the mark where the photo is calm and the contrast is strong: sky, tarmac, plain fabric. Aim for at least 3:1 against the picture, or 4.5:1 if the lockup includes small text. If it falls short, move the mark or change the background.

Don’ts

Keep it off busy detail, and off backgrounds so dark or so light that the mark disappears. If you have to squint to read it, the placement is wrong.

Misuse

Don’t stretch, squash or skew the mark. Use approved colours only, and never redraw it or retype it in another font. If you need a version we don’t provide, ask for one.

Tip

Start from the originals

Always start from the original files in the asset library.

Positioning

On portrait layouts the Est. logomark can sit in any corner or centred, whichever suits the format. Use it sparingly, only where a small format makes the wordmark hard to read; otherwise the wordmark comes first. In motion we always use the wordmark. The layouts below show the main placements, and the grey elements show alternatives.
